A bibliography of editions, supplementary publications, press clippings and critical works

A New Zealand Prayer Book was first published in 1989 after a long gestation and a succession of individually published services since 1966. The work of the Provincial Commission on Prayer Book Revision has generated much interest amongst scholars: these pages are a preliminary attempt to create an access point to publications and papers about the Prayer Book, and to record the various editions of the book that have been published

These pages includes scanned copies of articles about the publication, content and use of A New Zealand Prayer Book : He Karakia Mihinare o Aotearoa. There is also an inventory of the records of the Prayer Book Commission, The Commission to Plan a Revised Prayer Book and Lectionary was established in 1964, and later changed its name to the Provincial Commission on Prayer Book Revision.

The Commission had four Chairpersons during its life time: Rt Rev'd G. R. Monteith,1966-1968 Ven D.S. Millar, 1970-1973; the Rev'd T.R. Everall,1973-1980 and Rev'd R.G. McCullough 1980-1989.
