The Kinder Library is a place of study, research and learning. We have multiple rooms and facilities available for members to use during your visit here.

Free WiFi is available for library users.

Akomanga

Akomanga is the information commons for online learning, with computers for internet, email, and the writing of assignments.

Please note that a condition of use is that no software is installed and that there is no downloading of music and video material.

Akomanga’s computers provide:

  • Internet access
  • The Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Living Liturgy (worship planning software)

Te Whāriki

Te Whāriki is the group study or meeting room, conceived of as a space where people can meet and exchange stories and information and is available for any group activity.

It provides:

  • Audio conferencing facilities
  • Projector and Smartboard for presentations

 

Te Whāriki must be booked prior to use. To book Te Whāriki, please see us at the front desk or contact us.

Te Aho Mārama​

A place of quiet reflection and contemplation, and deep thought. This space is dedicated to the avid learner, a dedicated quiet study space in the library for all to use. It is also used for consultation of archives and special materials.

No talking, bags, drinks or food are allowed in this area. Please use the lockers at the library entrance for your bags, prior to going into Te Aho Mārama.
