From a later period of the Melanesian Mission comes three photograph albums from descendants of John Palmer, missionary to Melanesia 1863 to 1902. He was born in Oxfordshire, England, attended St John’s Theological College Auckland, and was ordained in Melanesia.

Together the albums have over 100 photographs taken at the Mission headquarters on Norfolk Island or on islands within the Mission’s jurisdiction. Not all of the photographs are identified.
